Do my clients need to create an account or download an app?
No. Clients book through a simple web page — no app download, no account creation, no friction. They pick a service, choose a time slot, and pay the deposit. Done.
How does deposit collection work?
DayHold connects to your Stripe or Square account during onboarding (takes about 2 minutes). You set a deposit amount per service, and when a client books, that amount is charged automatically. Funds land in your bank account on your provider's standard payout schedule.
Can I control which areas I accept bookings from?
Yes — you define your service area by ZIP code during onboarding. If someone outside your coverage area tries to book, they'll see a message letting them know you don't serve their location.
What if I need to cancel a job?
Cancel any job from your dashboard with one click. The client gets an automatic cancellation email, and a refund is issued based on your cancellation policy. You control whether refunds are full, partial, or non-refundable.
